I've been keeping at this Podcast since 2018.... BUT......
As you can see from my set up... I'm one step above a garage operation. By day I'm laboring under the ever watchful Eye of Sauron as a Cubicle Orc. By night I put on my Ottoman Superman cape and exercise my history muscles. All this to say history IS a passion project of mine. As the Podcast gets closer to the Conquest/Fall of Constantinople... it's becoming increasingly obvious to me that there is a financial as well as a time/labor costs involved with the show.
The costs manifest themselves in domain fees and books. I can cover the rest. However, these little Ottoman books are starting to add up and I'm running out of reasons and excuses as to why the Amazon and FedEx boxes keep arriving at my house.
