Frank
When I was 15 years old, the History Channel had a special on the Ottoman siege of Constantinople. I remember a map of the Sublime Ottoman Porte flashing up on the screen.. and I've been hooked ever since.
This obsession with the past infected my bloodstream, and I chose Eurasian history as my major in college (it was as close to the Ottomans as I could get).
By day I'm a 8-5 office jock doing my best to act interested in investigative odds and ends. My true passion comes out after hours, I sit back with my Muse and together we commune with the Ottomans..

What Our Listeners Say
Excellent podcast
This podcast is excellent and for fans of the History of Byzantium, Podcast, sheds light on the empire that captured Constantinople. For me, it provided the other half of this epic story.
Highly recommend d ddd
I have been binge listening to Frank now for about 3weeks after looking for a new podcast to listen to whilst recovering we from an injury. I’ve listened and then re-listened as i invariably missed things in each episode. The Ottoman Empire has been on my reading/listening list for some time and I can happily say that ...

Great history but host is soo laid back
This is one of the most interesting podcasts I’ve come across- especially as this amount of detail just isn’t taught in school But the host voice is so pleasant and soothing it’s too easy to fall asleep to But I want the information. History in podcast format should be interesting!!
